Hi
My Stator is a bit manky and needs a good clean, Some wiring need repairing along with a new wiring sleeve but any top tips on the best way to remove the grime.. I've been told not to use an ultrasonic cleaner...
Quick edit
Three white wires one blue coming out of the stator.. I take it as there is 3 white wires it's not that important for each to be connected exactly as they already are? I have some previous repairs done to a couple of the white wires but i need to shorten them anyway..

I used the 4x4 'wet wipes' to clean my wires once I'd removed the old grommet and brittle sleeve.
The individual connectors were popped out of their plastic block after taking pictures. The three white leads are interchangeable.
I resleeved the wires, fitted a new grommet, and sealed the new sleeve with self amalgamting tape.
Getting the new grommet seated correctly and back through the engine casing is a biatch....
