Just got my 421 engine back from the builder. I have Lomas pipes for it and obviously they don't fit . i know there is a adapter for these, does anyone know who sells them? While I am here, I take it that with the oko 34mm carbs I have I will need to change the fuel tap for a non vacuum tap and run it on premix? Would it be better , and much easier to get some mikuni's for it? . Sorry for all the questions , but in a bit over my head with this.

You don't have to run premix - the carbs can be drilled to accept an oil feed union, and Arrow is the man to ask about modifying your existing pump to give the correct flow to suit the bigger engine.

As Mark says they should be drillable for spigots
Also I have fitted a scottoiler universal bolt through spigot to a carb rubber to supply the vac fuel tap
Think TSA Kenny made adaptors for headcoats to fit lomas pipes

Yes Kenny made me some adaptors
They will move the rear mounts a bit , so a bit of adapting will be needed
Have a look on my thread build but they do look OK on the bike
You will need big fook off springs too but TZ ones are long enough :-)

which 421 is it, the reason I ask is because the Lomas pipes if for a 350 won't work at all if your 421 is a Cheetah cub, serval or Assassin build, the exhausts need to be a completely different design

PS - I have adapters to fit the Athena, cheetah cub, serval, assassin barrels spigot, but they are weld on, not a slip on for your original fixings to fasten to, bear in mind that if you "add" extra length to your exhsust at the header you are changing the tuned length of the pipe and also the characteristics of the pipe, although it sounds like the pipes you are intending using aren't made for a 421 specially anyway, so unlikely to cause any further issues than what you'll have anyway

How much are the weld on adapters?

How much are the weld on adapters? £50 a pair, they are made out of stainless, but can be welded to mild steel no problem

I've 3 springs on each pipe and double O ring 👍 That sounds reasonable, have you done them with double or single O rings? That was meant for Mutts. Trains, tunnels and mobiles aren't a great mix.

If you look on my build you can see how and where I drilled my 34 mm carbs so I could run the oil pump, you’ll also need a high flow fuel tap , tap and oil inlets available from Norbo shop.

If you need the nozzles Norbo has them , I drilled them tapped the holes then used loctite on the nozzles to ensure they were air tight and held.
