They were fine.

Plating is expensive and hard to find here due to environmental regulations.
Also got some missing and mis-matched fasteners to deal with.

I just buy them in bulk from a local supplier. Dirt cheap. Each Allen bolt costs pennies.

Also depends on if want the OEM look I guess, ie JIS screws and nothing else.
Phillips/crossheads are not JIS as we know.

Imo finding Allen bolts sprayed across a bike is horrid. Am restoring a kr1 and it’s like that. Usually you find a fair amount of bodges on bikes like this too.
