Has anyone done this with any success. Retaining the original forks and disks but going to a 17" rim, or is it a case of getting a complete 2MA or FZR type front end ? The 2MA rim 17x2.5 I think will take a nice 110/70 as per the YPM peeps

I have a TZR125 3PC front wheel in 31K forks running 100/80 tyre. You may have to skim the disk surface back a little to get the disk to clear the fork leg.

...also, the 2MA hub is a lot wider than an LC one, so may be too much to machine down, whereas the 3PC wheel is a lot narrower at the hub.

Very tempted to go this route with the wheels but can't bring myself to losing the lovely italic LC wheels 😥

Think it would be a lot cheaper/easier to fit a tzr or fzr front end
You would probably have to get the top yoke nodded for standard bars or get a top yoke made.
In saying that the early fzr 250 yokes are 35mm so you can use lc2 forks
The yokes are 10mm wider so a 2ma wheel would most likely go in
The rz250 3hm1 uses the fzr yokes with a 17 x 2.15 wheel (twin disc) and a 100/80 tyre
R1z-250 wheel will go in those yokes too and is wider so 110 tyre
I couldn't find one to fit in my 3hm1 🙁
