Interesting, not sure how the Missus would like it in her 'ladycave' though

It’s not yamark built is it. If mark or someone of similar skill had built it It would be interesting. It has no internals which make it a mega project, it’s therefore just a paperweight. An interesting one but a paper weight, because truth be told how many of us have the skill to finish it? Not me.

I like it. I have 2 Suzuki engines in the workshop that one day will be a table.

I cant see the welds that have joined the 2 crankcases together ? Which makes you think they have been ground right down for aesthetics rather than strength ? As a project for an ornament, there will be far less involved than if it was going to be a running, fully functioning engine. I wonder if it started out as one but ended up the other when the enormity of the task hit home ? Still, fair play, it looks great, and I bet there is a lot of hours in that to get it to this point. If it wasn't ever going to be a runner then it was a lot of work for feck all.

I spose if you had some knackered cases and barrels, and the skills and tools to make something unique, and some time of course, then why not ? Better than a crossword or Soduku !! Dusty

I would almost guarantee it started life as a viable engine, but for whatever reason a major flaw was found and so is sold as is. Jon

Doing the same not going to bid but be interesting to see what the barrels etc are like. Could also be a good ornament.

Who won this then? Was it the same engine that was sold a whole back for peanuts that has now been tarted up some paint on some dead parts I wonder?

Still the original seller, if he wanted or expected more should have put a reserve or higher start price, fundamentally what is it? A non useable ornament.

Got his mates to bid it up and so it didnt sell so now asking a load more for it . Its worth what some one is willing to pay and they are not willing to pay that money for it so why re list at more then it was bid up to last time . Its nothing more then an ornament . I bid on it to put it on our stand as shows just as a talking point as thats all its good for ./
