Quick question - my bikes bog standard.
Some leaking fuel has lifted some paint on the exhaust. Question being - what the best paint/process for repainting them and keeping the original look?
Cheers

Rub them down or sand blast them then paint with plastikote BBQ paint. Cure them on the bike within an hour or so of painting by running up the engine for at least 45mins. Easiest is to take it for a gentle ride.

With the old Plastikote, you either needed to get them cured quickly as Shaun has said, or leave them for a couple of weeks to cure naturally.
Once they've cured, you can T-cut and polish to your desired shine.

Cheers for that - I'll give it a go and see how it turns out.
