Hi all , I’m interested in a set of pipes Muttsnutts sells on his website , LC ones mid range I think he calls them . (£520) Does anyone have a picture of them fitted to a bike and do you have to change the jetting to suit on a standard bike or not. Cheers Bodgerandmolly1

Cheers lads. I didn’t want to bother him as I thought I’d read somewhere he was recovering from a operation.

i ordered a set of mid range pipes last week and they should arrive today. annoyingly i`m then off for a week and wont be able to fit them till i`m back. i`ll try and post some pictures when fitted or pm me your mobile if you have whatsapp. also with the mid range pipes there should`nt be any need to alter the jetting if your engine is in standard tune. maybe alter the pilot screw setting or lower the needle. steve

the ones on dusty`s bike are`nt the actual mid range pipes - i was very tempted when i saw them and listened to his video. eventually i went for the mid range pipes which will suit my riding style better.

Get back under your rock Bare ! Mine were the all round performance pipes. Dave is back on his feet now, so if you contact him he will advise you better than us what to go for, and how they work/look Dusty

I'm leaning towards a set and want to see the latest version. You get mild steel or SS?

I went for mild steel on the mid range pipes. When I’m back from my holiday I’ll post up some pics.

I fitted the mid range pipes last week and have just today got back from a bike meet and I covered about 300 miles. I’ve always loved riding my LC but after fitting these pipes it’s even more addictive. They sound just like the old school microns. I didn’t go mad on it or adjust the carbs as it was the first ride but it pulled strongly up to 80mph. I whipped the plugs out when I got home to get an overall impression and it’s running on the rich side which suits me. If you want something different I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

If they sound like microns I take it they are noisy then ?

They are but - no one I met over the weekend said “they’re loud” Plenty commented on how good they sound. At one point on a run we passed some horse riders so we all slowed down and the horses weren’t spooked. I also passed a jam sandwich without incident on a 50mph average speed check on the M20 and thought “this’ll be a test of the noise”.
