What's the engine build history?
How many miles?
Could be bearing behind clutch or even crank main bearing

Have known bike for about 7years when I first sold it and then bought back about 2years ago off icuras. In that time it's only had top done but it's only done about 4k in that time currently on 28k pulls real well starts and runs fine, but perhaps it is CRANK argh

If it's still on the original crank then it's done well.
My n1 had 29k and on original crank. When I stripped it and measured it it was on its service limit

Sorry mileage is 26k which makes little difference ! would you rebuild original crank or exchange for a Taiwanese crank?
