Have you considered a Yss ? Great value shock, and designed for the bike. That's what I would spend my money on. Plus a 2 year guarantee, and rebuildable should you need to. Dusty

Thanks I ve had the same mate. It will cost you at least 150quit to rebuild. I bought another 2nd hand from 2002 instead of 2000. This cost me 50€. I am still happy with the damping adjustments of the R6 shock. Never tested a yss shock though.

Get a YSS. Ive asked in a number if places and no one can tell me how much or what type oil, or how much nitrogen goes in any of our shocks... Id I knew I'd rebuild them.

I have several Howard, LC and RZ. Its all the same shock on the RZ, SAB016 on yambits: yambits.co.uk/rd350-ypvs-nitrogen-mono-shock-p-58005.htmlI always shop around and see what the vat free price and the post is on stuff at this price point of course as 20% on 200+quid items is a lot. Ymabits usually comes out best when i look. beware wemoto will GST you at source, but its under the $1k limit, ie like buying on ebay/amazon etc.

Hi Jon
Thanks for that, you don't happen to have the YSS part number at all
I was hoping the wemoto.au site would give me the answer however its a pain to use and I end up getting nowhere

Its a 316TR or something like that, but no, i dont have one handy sorry. The Yambits ones are the correct ones, ie with the adjustment to raise the back if needed/wanted.
Trust me Wemoto will cost you more, Ive not ever found them cheaper on these for us.

Howard I tried that once and gave up, they didnt want to talk English to me or sell to Aus so I gave up. You can buy locally as well, but none of us could afford that :/ I did find the correct part number on their website tho in the catalogue actually, but it wast easy. This was a while ago before they sold quite so readily on sites we can more simply buy from.

Pretty sure the 315 is the Lc shock and the 290 is the Pv. I will try and find my box for the shock today to confirm the Lc part number. The YSS part numbers correspond to the length of each shock I believe. Dusty
