Hi
What ratios are most of you running on your RD350lc 4L0 bikes, Mines a 4L1 bottom end but I will be going with 350 barrels and has a RGV250 VJ22 rear end,
I have a 17 front and a Talon TR124-45 tooth on the rear..

45 wayyyyyy too big
Most go 17/41 or 17/39 which are both lower than standard due to the 17 inch rear wheel

!7/41 sounds good to me as well, at present my bike is using 17/42 with Nova primaries. It's a little under geared so not so nice on motorways but great fun on the small roads.
Does the engine use standard primaries?

Mine has standard primaries and runs 17/41
As you say it feels undergeared. Screams on the motorway and first is too low in my opinion
Fitted 17/39 on the lc hybrid and fealt better

17 up front, 40 rear... they didn't have a 39 in stock so went with the 40.. others have said or mentioned 39-41 so I went in the middle and at £30 plus vat not a big loss if i need to go up or down one
