It depends if you want the original look or not. The original brake hoses had an external rubber sheath protector, not a coiled wire. I think that was an AC thing.

Not bothered about them having to look like the originals.

I have these on one bike and Yambits' version on another. (Norbo used to sell the same manufacturer version as Yambits, but i dont think he does them anymore)
I bought these kits as I wanted the OEM look. On both kits the top hose does not have much slack, if you have anything other than OEM bars you may struggle to get the hose to fit well as it just fits as it is with no slack.
In my view the Yambits ones are nicer. They cost a little more but I felt the quality was better and the Yambits ones are UK made by a company who makes them for classic cars and is well respected. The Legend ones are fine, its just the others were nicer.

Back in the day I remember Goodridge braided hose kits on display in many a bike shop around my way, haven't seen them for many years now.

Ive bought Goodridge and others on ebay for good prices, even custom braided stuff, but depends on the look you want.

Not really bothered by the looks, the current two hose system that's on the bike is black, well sleeved because I've just noticed that it's split in a couple of places exposing the braiding.
The diameter of the hoses does seem to be a bit small compared to what I remember, the brakes do work great though.

Were they brand new when you got them and how long have you had them? Complete with washers & bolts plus postage, how much are you thinking??
