Hi,just fitted tapered head set bearings and once the tin dust shield is in place there is only 3 or 4 threads showing for the adjuster nut. Is this normal? thanks

What model are you fitting it to, Mk1 or MK2? There are 2 different kits.

It's a mk1 suppose to be a mk1 bearing kit

It's a mk1 suppose to be a mk1 bearing kit Well I wouldn’t be happy with a few threads. Ok: here’s the bearing sizes for the MK1 kit. 25x48x13 30x48x15 This kit didn’t fit my MK2

Thanks for this will check it out. I think It will be ok as the top yoke will secure everything.

I had exactly the same problem with mine but like you have said the top yoke bolt will hold it all in place.

I bought a set and the tolerance was shocking Reverted to buying original roller bearing set
