It sounds an awful idea, but in reality could look very nice, depends what other colours are contrasted against the frame. lots of red on this bike and it looks pretty smart I think, also a 'slightly similar' style arm www.ducatimonster.org/featured/2006sep/1.jpg

I'm not sure about the red, I'm even wishing I hadn't done my frame red now, but mainly because it restricts my colour choices. I think with the red/white scheme you'd look better with chrome powder coat. Just my 2 cents...

You could find a picture of a bike like the one you are doing and “photoshop” it to your colors. At least you will gat a better picture of what you will end up with..

WHITE WHEELS!
Brave man lol
I'm too lazy to keep them clean
As said it's not a permanent choice, easily stripped and redone if you don't like it

Hi mate Never been a fan of red swingarms - although I do like a red frame on the right bike, and white wheels look great Polished over chrome powder for me - the chain pulls will have the powdercoat looking rough after a time. But, always go with what you want - first rule of special building !! Dusty

I agree - and I've done some shockers over the years !! I remember parking my Rd400 outside Windsor Motorcycles years ago - think I was about 19, and I thought it looked the bollox - I'd painted everything - every nut and bolt !! In my defence, it was the 80's ! Anyway, I'm stood at the busy counter, ordering parts, when an older biker walks in and says "I didn't realise the circus was in town" !! I didn't laugh but everyone else did I see it now, but didn't back then. Beauty is in the eye mate, and you never know you might start a red swinger revolution !! Dusty

Red will look sh1te....
Original anodized clear/silver finish would be good. A silver type finish would look best.
