i have the sport demons on my 31k and happy with them i wanted a stickier tyre and wasnt worried about wear, i was told the bt45 was a better all round tyre though

Grip was my concern so that helps
The fact they are only £96 a pair delivered also helps
Another factor is my rz250r has a nearly new pair fitted and the rear is a 140 and the front 100. I feel the rear is too wide for the rim
I'd prefer a 130 on it and I am building the "budget" hybrid which will have a 140 on it
If I buy a 110 and a 130 I can then mix and match the 4 with a 100 and 130 on the rz and a 110 and 140 on the hybrid
Anybody else?
Steve

Anybody used these? Any thoughts? Considering a set for my "budget" hybrid build Steve I wouldn't fit them on a LC, Lc's are too light/powerful to make the tyre work. I had Angels on a YZF750. They were pants. The Demon was originally (alongside the Phantom) a decent tyre for classic and older bikes. Of the two (if you must) I'd go for the Demon. Or save up and put Avon's on the hybrid. Extra £150 on tyres to save £1,000's if it slides up the road on concrete tyres

It solves the oversize rear on the rz and matches the front which doesn't even looked properly scrubbed. The "budget" hybrid build will be a project I'm going to start soon that I'm trying to see how cheaply I can do it for a laugh. It will be a bitsa made from all the spare bits in my garage. I have the frame, engine, running gear and bodywork so why not Will do it alongside a "mint" hybrid build so one gets the wheat, one gets the chaff Steve

I was considering an Avon Streetrunner on the front of a stock LC and an AM26 on the rear that will just be toddled around. S rated, so no good for a 31k though.

I have a set of Heidenau in the loft. Recommended by Tony Salt Tyres. Sadly I have not had chance to try them out yet. They are supposed to be very very good.

replaced the Bridgestones (I forget) on My 600RR with Pirelli Diablo Corsa Reds. A whole new world of improvement. These are amazingly good tires. Also required Zero balancing weights as quality testament Worth Every cent I paid.. which actually wasn't that much of a premium over cheaper tires. Had no idea pirelli made tires in stock LC 350 sizes.

Not strictly an lc Rz250r 3hm1 The only powervalve to have 17 inch wheels as standard Like fzr250 2kr running gear, not sure if you had them over there Steve

Conti classic attack. Radial On lc2.
Took a fair bit of setting up to get confident with the feel. Rear tyre profile looks odd, not too much profile, and very easy to be on the edge. Improved by only running around 26psi, really good feel, grip, and stable at speed at a good lean angle. Much better than Avon once pressure sorted, looks a bit naff due to profile.
Front tyre, is just sooo much better than the Avon before. Better grip, better ride, better turning.... great profile, looks better.
