Been out on my rd350 n1 what a blast ! Anyway got me thinking sure i read somewhere out of all the powervalve's this particular model made the best power/best rev range ? It does seem to rev higher/harder than my LC2 okay it's got gibson pipes on it but don't think that would affect the top end to much?Any thoughts I know the cdi for example was unique to this model

The N/F CDI unit gives a slightly different curve to other models. More likely the Gibson pipes making a better kick though!

As Mark says different cdi
Peak power was different across the models
Lc2 9k N/F 9.5k N2/F2 8.5k
Different pv open/close times too

Yes
Ra ers used to fit the 52y50 cdi to get the extra 500 rpm
The lc2 pv timing is 5500 to 8300
F2 is 6000 to 10200 so never fully opens

The only annoying thing I found was that when I opened the throttle I used to slide right back on the seat It was way, way faster than my LC. I often wish I hadn't sold it.

HaHa yes indeed that's why I bought it back, the only time i've ever done this .Just remember the top being real strong and just kept pulling did see 120 on clock once on the flat ! pretty impressive for a standard motor with pipes .
