From the next issue the editor is out and it’s amalgamating with Performance Bikes.

Performance Bikes will cease as a mag on it's own, and will be an added supplement to Practical Sportsbikes. I think it's the only way PB will survive. They narrowed their market so much that it appealed less and less to the masses unfortunately. And Chris Newbiggin is taking over as Editor - he was a former staffer on the mag. Jim Moore will still contribute I believe as a freelancer. Dusty  |

The former boy at PSB get's his own mag PB, fails and then return to steer PSB!
While looking strange, I am a fan of Chris and have enjoyed PB more than PSB in spite of shitty paper quality.

I brought the first ever edition of performance bikes when it morphed from mechanics,I was so Impressed with the red and yellow Ducatti on the cover I went out and got my RD125 sprayed the same colours it looked shite probably.

I had a PB subscription for twenty-odd years but cancelled it about four months ago because each month when the mag had arrived I hadn't even bothered to take it out of the packaging to read it. Think I have fourteen or fifteen in a stack, all unopened. Always enjoyed the build-a-bike-in-your-shed articles but the rest of the mag gradually became less and less interesting. Quite the opposite with my Viz subsrciption - latest issue arrived this morning and I've read every page  |
