Just measure the diameter of the forks and look on eBay. Last pair I got were £7 I think.

I saw smoothers when I looked yesterday, LSL is the brand, nice looking but more expensive. if you look at the ones in Germany they are about 94 quid, the ones in UK are 150!!

Those are like the ones I bought from Australia, they didnt come with shims and I thought they were too long. I'd like to know how long yours are Steve. The LSL ones come is different lengths which is nice. I'm still not sure which way to go. I have a 31k but dont want to put the nose fairing on. (well I dont think I do! Dusty's fault!! ) Phil

Hi Fozzy The alloy ones on the orange bike were a set from M&p a few years back - bought as a set but the fork clamps were bulky. I bought a cheap set off ebay for the chrome fork clamps, and married the cheap clamps to the alloy arms. The other set were on the carbon bike when I bought it but I suspect a previous owner had mix and matched the same. I remember finding some nice combinations on German ebay in the past so may be worth a look over there Dusty

And it's the Brazillian 4ce engine that doesn't have the facility to easily retro fit a drive for the cable tacho. The engine for my cafe racer is a 4ce, but I am planning on a Scitsu tacho so don't need a cable drive. If you have a 1ua engine you can still retro fit the drive though. You could possibly drill the cases for a tacho drive on a 4ce but it would require some careful engineering work and probably not cost effective. Dusty

cheers dusty, i have two engines here will have to dig them out from under a pile of crap so will double check what i got, i was thinking about trying a gps unit, had one on my last hybrid and it worked great, something that will allow the rev counter to work from a pickup off the coils maybe
