Platic welding. It's a doddle. Soldering iron and a bit of cable tie...apply heat.

The issue with Q Bond on motorbike plastic is that it is not flexible and will crack eventually
It is superglue liquid that you mix plastic powder with
Cable ties do work, however they are generally nylon based, you can get plastic welding rods which are better
An old wives tale maybe, however i was told this by a panel beater, if you burn part of the plastic you are going to repair, look at the colour of the smoke and try and find a plastic that will burn the same colour, they are then compatible for repair by melting the plastic
I will declare an interest that I work for Wurth and hence I use their product Replast as well as Vaku 50 which is a plastic filler
I have completed quite few large repairs not just cracks with it, eg on the headlight fairing of an F1/2 where the indicators smash holes in the fairing when the bike is dropped, I can't work out how to post pictures on here but if you want to PM me with your email I can send some to you and explain the process for you, the two repairs i did on my fairing were about 2" in diameter on top of the original hole for the indicator
There is another liquid plastic by Teroson I think, not sure how it goes though

They will repair it, but it wont last. Use some bits of old yamaha panel if you solder. I did a wrote up about doing this one my site. These days i use the wurth products, Howard introduced me to them and I am a huge fan. Thanks mate!

Thanks for the tip. I have a knackered side panel so I'll use bits of that next time I need to repair something.
