Just got a letter today from UPS saying that I have unpaid charges with UPS. At first I thought that it was something to do with a parcel that I shipped to the USA. But on a closer look and read, something didn't quite seem right. I have only used UPS that once and don't have an account with them, so I checked through my paperwork and sure enough none of the information on the letter ties up with anything I have. So just beware of this scam.

It's that time of year when the post scams creep out from under their rock
Heard a PayPal one going around the other day
A friend gets their email hacked so you think it's them messaging you saying they have sold some stuff on eBay but PayPal have froze their account so can they get it paid into your PayPal then you can transfer it to their bank
Well the money arrives in your account, you withdraw it to your bank and transfer it to your "friend"
Then the con men reverse the PayPal payment so you now owe hundreds of pounds to PayPal as you cleared it out
They tame it from your bank and neither PayPal or your bank are interested as you instructed all transactions
Its never ending, I fecking hate paying for large ticket items unless it's a shop
