Hi guys , both engines stripped , not looking so good . First off the sump on one has had a botch job , obv the drain plug has snapped so it has been covered in some kind of metal filler , I’m goin to try chip & grind away at it to see if I can salvage it and get to the thread, but it’s fustration not to mention man hours Secondly this spline is the only one on both engines that does not want to come out , any tips , other than heat Then we get to the interesting part on the better engine the case has damage to the seal housing on the drive gear shaft Any experience will the seal hold or is the casing toast One good crank looks like not done any miles since inserted , who ever built this engine needs to stick to air fix kits , woodruff keys missing , circlips missing & shaft retaing screws totally snapped off at heads not to mention toothpaste for case sealant , well might as well have been One toasted crank , bearings shot One head and barrel with a new piston 200 over bore Heavily ported , very heavily , I don’t know if it’s a hack job or done correct , had boysen Reeds in and was running a huge mikuni carb on the bike when purchased although it’s never ran obv from what I’ve described. It’s been stood since roughly 2009 Second head and barrel look stock but no piston and in bad shape This is from the engine with busted crank and sump butcher So yeah / not 2 impressed Thoughts and feedback most welcome Thanks in advance mic

I recon you would get away with fitting the seal in the casing.

IMO the output shafts are supperficial as klong as there is no damage to seal face should get away with it unless you weld up and have it remachined true again
