alright lads, just wondering what gering set up people have on their bikes?? not had a125lc for over 15 years now ,but i seem to remember messing withthe front and rear sprockets to get the bike to rev out in most gears. pretty sure it wasnt in standard form. any help much appreciated, thank,s mark.

alright lads, just wondering what gering set up people have on their bikes?? not had a125lc for over 15 years now ,but i seem to remember messing withthe front and rear sprockets to get the bike to rev out in most gears. pretty sure it wasnt in standard form. any help much appreciated, thank,s mark. ive had a play about with a 1 tooth smaller front sprocket on my 125lc and i just found it made it feel under geared as i usualy ride mine on 40mph and national speed limit roads.id stick with standard gearing for the best of both worlds with acceleration and top end mine revs right out in all gears but to be honest i rarley go over 75/80mph,saying that if you want more acceleraton 1 tooth less would be ok,just my opinion .

isnt yours bigbored tho haha so it will rev out in every gear lol, or have you got a std one aswell ??

ive only 1 rd125lc at the moment and yes its big bored,ive had 2 other rd125lc's in the past one was a 10w mk1 the other was a 12a mk1,the 10w pulled right round and wasnt much slower than my current 175cc one.i suppose for wheelies and around town a 1 tooth smaller sprocket would make it more livley

thanks for the replys fellas, think i will go for standard stuff once a bit further on with my resto project. mines a mk1 12a but running all the 10w goodies ,so should go well !!
