Trying to build a stock 350LC 4 L0.
When I look at what I think are pictures of original un-molested bikes it looks like the front discs are each fixed with 6 of zinc plated hexagon bolts.
Looking at Norbos shop and other Yam parts sites it looks like the genuine replacements bolts are black or dark olive green.
Which is correct a la 1980/1?
Thanks, Shaun

Thanks for this, seen this before but not sure of its accuracy so use it with a bit of skepticism. It doesn't list too many of the bolts (and not the front disc ones) but does say that engine screws washers and nuts are silver. I believe that is correct for the engine mounts but not the engine casings which are olive green. That one I can put down to interpretation but it also states that the rear sprocket is black gloss? Probably a typo as would be strange if that was correct! In general I do love that website though so not complaining, hence wanted to check.

Have you looked at the skills plus pics? I looked for you but I cant see them, maybe its down again?
I rezinc'd mine as bright silver as thats what i believe the OEM were. A bunch of these fixings are now only available from yam with the incorrect colours for our bikes, thats cos they have been used on more modern machines etc. Its no problem to buy the new ones and re zinc... been there, done that lol

Thanks for your responses, bright zinc it is then. I didn't want to turn up at a meet with the wrong bolts. Cheers.
