always loved the look of the Laverda Montjuic as a kid used to walk past one on the way to school clueless what they go or ride like! lotto win then it would be the NSR500 twin from the late 90s Noisy bag of shite with an optimistic speedo. I bought one brand new from TT motorcycles at Sunderland in 1980.

I have all my dream bikes apart from one, and I'm never going to be able to afford it now. Should've bought it when I had the chance and went to see it...
An NR750

250cc Bultaco Metralla. Love the looks of the things.. from the flat bottomed tank to the too skinny tires and the Pop.. Pop.. Pop ex sound I find irresistable. Wayy overpriced these days tho.

My absolute favourite bike of all time is this a t120 TT I made my 65 t120 look like this loved it but Christ even though it was set up properly shite would just vibrate off at random when over taking a car going to Stratford an exhaust not a silencer but an exhaust came off, lost a pancake filter it seized flat out down the coventry bypass but jeez sure miss it

... we have all seen this on here before too, but this is another particular favourite of mine, nice piece of engineering. I like the attire worn by most of the blokes in this video, jeans and bike jacket... not a single leather boiler suit in christmas tree colours in sight ! :-) Steven.

I see a GPZ and Turbo above....close.....
For me......GPZ 750 Turbo.
My Dad's old furniture shop neighbour had one. Must have been in '88 when I got my AR50 and I just dribbled over his bike.
I don't remember alot except it was very green and had a 4 into 1 (Harris?). However, he did have a stencil above the back light that said bl*w j*b in italics. My Dad was not impressed.
One clear blue sky day in Catford (was probably raining) he said I could jump on the back. Which I did with glee...........however, he seemed to forget he'd removed the grab bars. 'Ready'? he shouts....'err yeah' I replied....
Last thing I saw was a bl*w j*b disappearing into the distance....Landed hard....had a sore ar*e for days.
There's a motto there.
So a GPZ 750 Turbo - Green - 4 into 1 - with 'if you can read this, you just fell off' stencil!

An NR750 Same for me, I am lucky enough to have several of my dream bikes but my freshly restored RC30 was stolen some years ago now and there is no way I can afford to replace it now. Rode a NR750 very briefly a few years ago and was so worried about damaging it I did not enjoy the experience!

My granddad's Greeves east coaster, which has been fully restored. I know where it is but it's owner doesn't want to part with it. A Suzuki gsx1100efe with modern running gear, been looking for a nice one for the last 18 months. Gsxr750m had one for years and foolishly sold it. If I had cash to burn either a RC30 or OW01

TBH the older the bike the more rose tinted the opinion and the worse the bike is. I bought a KH500 on a whim (about 25 years ago) spent a lot of money restoring it. Rode it about 3 times. It was cr@p Interesting that. I've wanted a H1 for awhile now. Finally got one in feb and did a budget resto on it. Have to say I love it . Brakes let it down though. A few 70's and later bikes I'd love but they are now well and truly out of my price range.

There are all sorts of things that I fancy, although to be fair I'm not doing too badly, I've got an LC, a 500cc Rudge, a TDR250 and I've just ticked another box with an early 90's CBR600FN.
If I had a big enough garage I'd have an early Matchless G3, a BSA B32, an A7, an RC45, an EXUP, etc. The only bikes I'm not so keen on are the Italian 70's bikes, they just look like park benches with a motor underneath, I don't like that look at all.

I have always fancied a Z1 900 in the style of AC Sanctuary but that is out of reach so I bought a new Z900RS instead which is my daily ride. Certainly a better and more reliable bike than an actual Z1. Whats the 900RS like? I really like the look of them and might buy one as a daily bike.

I really like it. Compared to my previous S1000R there is loads of leg room and the seat is like an armchair. Possibly one of the best looking bikes I have owned, the amount of people that compliment it is unreal. Almost as many as my Lc. Or C90 😊 Performance wise its nothing like the S1 but enough for the road. Very smooth and plenty torque at the bottom end and you can use everything it has, although not a lot of point in over revving it – power flattens off long before the limiter cuts in. Reg I think you have to ride these bikes in context, the RC45 without a HRC kit wasn't going to set the road on fire, but ridden in it's own right then it's just a nice bike to own/ride.

Agreed, but, my 30 feels more than the sum of its parts. It's effortless, encouraging and forgiving all at the same time. The 45 felt awkward, unbalanced and inferior in comparison and whilst a nice bike to own, wasn't a nice bike to ride. Especially so after the 30. But, still a dream bike to own.
