How can i find out the original colour of a bike (350lc) Matching numbers? All matching but one didget short on the engine?

You can get the history of the bike from the DVLA for £5. but only if your bike is registered to you. They will give you all the info they hold on it and if it is a uk bike from new you will see the original registration which will have the original colour.

Think under data protection they are no longer allowed to do that V5's don't even have the previous keepers details now Steve

I think you can only get info on a vehicle you own and is registered to you buy using a V888 form. I did this on my LC about 12months ago. It may have changed though, as you say Steve, with the DPA.

Original colour for instance would be listed as white, but then no idea if it was red or blue stripe, black would obviously narrow it down to mars bar livery.

Think Rigga is right. Would have listed the main colour only back in the day.

yes they were only the main colour on the V5.
