Hi guys, I'm interested in buying the pipes currently for sale on the Forum, but as I have a 31k I'm hoping somebody can tell me how much difference there is in the mounting, if it means adding bits or extra parts then I'll leave them, but if its only a case of elongating the existing hole then that's fine.
Thanks, Phil

You would need to offer them up to the bike to be sure
There is about an inch difference
If you look at the old microns the pipes were the same but the bracket was longer so they looked droopy on a ypvs
The hole is higher and slightly further back
Those brackets look really easy to bolt on a small adaptor plate but they will sit lower than the footplate hanger

Just looked at the picture of them on an lc and they are real close to the frame rail and side stand bracket

Thanks Steve, its too much of a risk, I have been meticulous with this build, can't run it with something so big, shame as I like the look of the pipes.

I found that My old 'codnor' LC Microns (both pairs) Didn't fit worth shite on My LC's. Ended up Cutting off the Rear brackets entirely, fabbing New ones and rewelding once I had clamped the pipes into Perfect Alignment. Header tubes now actually slide and the chambers are well fitted under the engine ..nicely spaced from everything they could rattle against. Ended up that the new brackets were notably different in shape and location on the pipes from the Factory efforts Took an entire day's work though... so not a trivial bodge.

you used to be able to fit the old condor microns in a GP style bend , with a bit of heat ,the rh side pipe slightly to the right , then fit it to the left hand cylinder running out to the righthand side , a tweek to the mount was required then fit the lefthand side pipe to the right hand side
