Hi.. I've used fowlers before.
Ie: I was looking for rear sprocket nuts with the correct a/f size so that the tab washer would fit nicely. This was for a rd aircooled.
What helped was searching the part number..or part of. And just looking up other bikes, as they usually have size shown.
There also may be a few sellers on ebay that specialise in fittings for other models. Eg..Z650 lower clamp pinch bolts are the same as rd aircooled.
It's just a case of searching around.
Best o luck.

Have you tried a company like Fabory or Wurth?

Thanks, Phil I’m intrigued as to what these are for? Have you thought of having them made bespokely? I expect it depends on how many you want? Jon

... they are JIS, I googled them too and the first thing I found was the £5 each ones, next place I found was in the States. They are not special, just JIS as opposed to DIN.

Strange they are JIS as I thought the Japanese preference was for a 1.25mm pitch on an M10? I could make something similar in stainless (9/16th AF = 14.3mm) but it would depend on the amount needed as I’d have to order in this stock specially. Jon

I guess the £5 ones will have to be.. they are crankcase nuts on my Kawasaki H1, I actually only need to use 4 with a 14mm head, this is because of clearance issues, the rest can be 17mm head, I just wanted to have them all the same. And before anyone asks, no they are not available from Kawasaki.

I would just buy some 14mm (across flats) nuts and drill and tap them M10 x 1.5. But that's because I have an M10x1.5 tap. Cheers Dave

Standard M10 x 1.5 have a 17mm head There is a M10 x 1.5 nut available from Wurth with a 15mm head part number 031710 15 The only 14mm head M10 nuts have a 1.25mm pitch
And yes I work for Wurth
