Afternoon to all,
Like most F2's the clock foam has died and is transforming into some kind of black goo !!!.
The top grey rubber part is still ok and has cleaned up well. Can anyone out there remember what sort of thickness and density the old foam was
Gonna try and make a replacement.
Cheers all,
Mollers

Yes please Kostas.
Could you send me a picture of it. I need to find out how thick the foam is and how its positioned on the top rubber face.
Best regards Chris

If you mean the damper that goes between the clock and bracket I used one from a Suzuki when I did mine, 34288-01D20.

It's obviously not identical to the Yamaha item but fits really well and does the job properly, someone on this forum put the number up, can't remember who but it has been used by others. Putting the number into Fowlers part search shows it's a GS500 part.

I guess one option would be to clean the crispy rubber off the original grey material and then fit the suzuki rubber under it, might be the go?
FWIW I spent ages removing the rubber off one of my old ones and it was a very unpleasant job :/
