just got my bars for my hybrid today. do you think they look ok on a full faring bike? used to seeing clipons also which front master cylinders do uses that look ab but trick with the separate tank for the brake fluid, comes with a little bar to hold it. i think the normal one might hit the fairing on full lock. thanks max

Flatter may work but fairing = clip one and naked = bars. :-)

I looked on the website and the road bars bend round more.

Do you think I could change the risers or machine them down..?

Personally I'd be more concerned about the riding position bars provide rather than looks,...clip on's are neat etc but if I can hardly ride the bike, there's no point me fitting them.
I'd like to fit straighter/higher bars to my 4LO at some point but the hassle of finding longer control cables and switch gear wires is putting me off.

Flatter may work but fairing = clip one and naked = bars. :-) Agree with this, or bin the standard fairing, and go with a bar mounted version, no probs with M/cyl etc then.

Hi For comfort, they look good. For looks - don't think they suit the bike in my opinion, but as said, if you like it that's all that matters. I'm guessing you are not sure, hence asking for opinions, but I think lower bars would look better. I think the clip ons that mount above the yoke as standard on these have the right "look", but you may struggle to do that now. Unfortunately, as with a lot of components, having the look that you want doesn't always mean you get the comfort . I really like straight bars on unfaired bikes, but they are not that comfortable for me and cause issues with cable routing. I fitted low rise bars on mine in the end as it saved on loads of hassle, and just got used to the look of them. Regards front brake - I used a Gsxr750 K3 master with a billet ally pot which is the smallest I could find; 20171228_120433 by David Miller, on Flickr Couldn't find anywhere in this country that did the pot. It came from Australia !! Nice looking hybrid too - great job Dusty

Nice looking hybrid too - great job Dusty thanks dusty, it looks like your risers are a bit lower too. i wanted to use clipons on top of the fork but as they are shorter it makes a harder. if the clipon are below you loose height. the biggest i can find is 3" which is the same height as orignal but one fitted below. unless i go for these www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pro-Caken-Performance-Stunt-Adjustable-Shift-Clip-ons-Handlebars-For-50mm/232399130729?_trkparms=aid%3D555017%26algo%3DPL.CASSINI%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20151005190540%26meid%3D04e2c0883c1e4557b34d86741e678461%26pid%3D100505%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D1%26%26itm%3D232399130729&_trksid=p2045573.c100505.m3226

What about adjustable clip ons? I had some on my zxr750h2 and they were brilliant for me.
Just a thought.

Jotas bars were one of the many different combinations I had on my old 400 way back. As Steve says, multi adjustable Dusty
