Hello folks so my 350n1 is playing up starts fine from cold runs ok until i start raging her 1,2,3,4th gear pulls like an N1 should get to 5th just dies goes real flat?So ive checked float heights and adjusted to 21mm fuel tap seems okay on prim fuel flows freely, swapped coil with my other valve no difference?could it be the cdi unit breaking down?after bike dies if i slow down for a while then go for it again bike is okay ?any ideas fellow 2strokers

Is the breather clear on the tank ?

My thoughts exactly. Sounds like it can't pull fuel quick enough, then recovers after a while of not-flat-out. Also check fuel cap- they can collect a lot of crud in them, and become (almost) airtight.

Best way to find out take it for thrash, when it starts losing power pull over and open the fuel cap. If you hear a sudden whoosh of vacuum, there's your problem.

And when there is no woosh. I suspect the fuel tap. The vac operated is a pita. Wil be replaced soon for a non vac operated over here. Waiting for the postman.

Standard fuel tap is fine if overhauled and working how intended. My N1 has been flat out on the dyno and no issue with starvation at all.
