Think they only started to stamp them with the BS number when they had to meet noise regs when a Micron took the design on, so maybe before not all had markings on. Pete Gibbson stared making them again around 1999/2000 but only roughly engraved Gibbson on the back of the rear hanger to get around the copy rights that Micron own.. Ironic since they were his original design!!

That’s what I thinks maybe not all were marked they only started stamping them for that reason, these pipes I’ve got are old ones and feel good quality I’ve held a Gibson on from a rd125lc and the weight is totally different mine feel better quality when I got them from the man he said there not copy’s and that’s he’s had them donkey years lol does anyone know if it’s possible that they didn’t stamp some

I collected a pair of small can Allapeeds direct from Peter in Romford in 1982 and they too had no stamps.

I think the BS stamped ones were after Micron brought the rights to make them.
