I have just rebuilt my 4L0 top end and got my squish very close to 1mm now. It is close to optimum for LC engines if you want to keep a little safety margin :-)

let it warm up and cool down a couple of times. Keep an eye on the plugs. I mark the throttle and check a1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full thottle to see what is happening.

Hi Stusco i always use old plugs as they seem to react quicker to the carb settings i just monitor the colour of the plug at the different markings. If it is light at any given mark than i know i have to be carefull in that area until I've adjusted the jetting.

Was the 158 main in the bike when it seized or have you gone up while setting it back up again ?
I know all bikes are different but I have run 152 mains for years with Ramairs,VForce, TSA pipes and Mick Abbey tune and pre mix
It was probably on the needle when seized , was it on middle clip when it happened or have you richened it up since ?

From the O-ring it looked like a sudden ingress of water that caused the issue.

The right one looks leaner than the left. Try swapping the plugs over left to right to check if it is the carburation or the plugs
Is this a plug chop or just taken out after you got home for a ride?

Right hand one deffo looks lean, did it come out of the cylinder that had the problem last time as it could be a clue. Are they 8s or 9s?

Mere curiosity: in very First photo.. the Mounting flange of the right Cyl is notably thinner than that of the Left one. Seems as a curious thing

They both look ok to me. Worth getting a borescope as great for looking at top of pistons to see the colour. Also handy for other jobs.
