Hi guys,
Soon to be arriving LC hybrid, will be a blank canvas (tank, panels etc all in primer) I'm no genius on photoshop, as you can tell, but I've mocked up a few ideas, and would appreciate some opinions. The bike in the pics is not mine, apologies if it's your's. I just found a side view of a hybrid, and used it. I hope you don't mind.
I'm leaning towards the yellow/black KR inspired them, and the speed blocks would be airbrushed on, in a fluttery flag effect.
Any thoughts, positive and negative, will be appreciated (assuming the pic posting works)
Guy

Pic 4 for me. I'm not sure the white works that well on the belly pan with the stripe though.
It might need the blue on the top, line then white underneath.

none of the above, I would think of a colour and scheme nobody has done, my lc hybrid I fancy doing a beige maybe and perhaps a light tan seat, something different, I think it was dusty did his lc orange, it looked mint

If I were to go the 'speed block' route I'd still go old school, really like Dusty's bike for example. At the end of the day it's your choice, none of them look gastly to me.

It's a brave move to go away from well used and standard paint jobs

Any except the red/blue scheme. The only thing on all of them is that the side panel marking doesn't go with speed blocks to be honest.

Aren't 2 and 7 the same ? The yellow over the white is my favourite from those shown, but I agree with Kryten, you need to do something with the side panel. I know Mark Cordwell has done a few schemes like that but the speedblocks run down into the side panel and then up and back to the tail piece. Saw one in the flesh when I picked one of my sets up and it looked stunning. Still, it's your bike so go with what you like - it's only got to please one person - you Also consider how the paint will sit against other components on the bike - are you going with a black seat ? What colour wheels do you want ? It can affect the overall look. Dusty

All good points, and well appreciated. Nothing is decided yet, and I'm sure the painter will have some more ideas.
Thanks fellers

Not much to choose between them all except the belly pan needs to be more discrete.. maybe solid black to match engine..the outline of the pan will be sufficient to catch the eye. End of the day.. it's what you like. I did my duc hyper black base with red and silver metal flake. I like it.
