You have to order the V55/5 form you can't fill it in online or download a copy as it is in two parts with a carbon copy. Order one here and they will post it out to you: www.gov.uk/dvlaforms

I have a German frame and docs, it was bought from a forum member, but I don't have the nova, I believe the bike was brought into the country then broke up for parts, any ideas on what to do next, I have enough parts now to build a complete bike, any advice on this would be much appreciated, cheers Andy

put it on the nova through hmrc, get a gateway account, make up a name and address in Germany (google it) when asked when it come into the country make sure you put within two weeks as by law your supposed to register it within two weeks when its been in the uk, you need to mot it on frame number, a friendly mot station might help, or failing that leave the final part until its finished, then mot it and get a v55/5 all easy enough

Hi Fozzy, even if you dont have the nova? If it's registered on the nova there is obviously going to be some sort of record of it and you can contact them for any nova registration numbers you might need.
