I don't know who he is but he's been buying rd's up off ebay, think he basically powder coats the frames etc then sells them on for a big profit, he bought a mk3 lc 125 for £700 then stuck it back on ebay having done the little bits to finish it for £1395 not a bad profit then.

Your right not a bad profit but when you consider the powder coating cost and that it has been stripped, cleaned and other bit's n piece's done then it's not a bad price Especially as lots of people can't be bothered to even clean a bike

hi everyone im not anomonous im rich3648 and been on this site a while.i buy most my bits fron norbo and had a couple of frames and a bike off him. just keeping myself busy in the winter getting some old shed rds back out there for people to enjoy.guess i do make a profit on some of my bikes but just the past couple of weeks people have calmed down on buying.maybe the credit crunch. after working out in this freezing cold everyday and then gasing myself in the evenings spraying panels and tanks in my cellar think i deserve a little bit of a profit lol.anyway i have restored a couple of rds for myself and if anyone is out in ibiza this year whatch out for me on my mk3.also if your out in ibiza pop into taboo lap dancing club in the west end,san antonio and ask for rich and i will get you a beer on the house.

Thats what i used to do years ago do up 125lc and sell them used to make about £150/200 on a bike if i was lucky and loved building them. Sooner them be back on the road looking all nice then broken up for parts, I think we can all agree on that .

hope you sell yours carlos but think its better to wait till april, may when everyone wants a bike as not many serious buyers out there at the moment.
i think after collection costs, powder coating, lost log book fee(£25)mot(£25)mot work, stripping and re building hours of work and all the the money i spend with norbo for all the finishing bits id be happy with a couple of hundred quid profit.the best bit for me is to see the finished bike and compare to the bike i bought.have another few projects im working on so hope to get them finished soon.

Just don't ever work out how much you've made per hour, you'd be better pushing trolleys in Tesco! I'd sell my bike for 2 grand, and not a penny less! If I still have it in 50 years time I don't care!
