Unbelievable. Some people will do anything to get a parking space close to the door. Sadly a reflection of driving standards out there these days. Ride safe everybody.

I was a maintenance engineer for Tesco for a few years, I reckon a lamp post or trolley bay got hit once a month in the store I was based at.
I used to park my car on a wide space on the end of a row, quite a way from the store. In 3 years, the give way sign 10 foot from my car was hit 3 times.
We had a lamp post hit once, and a contract company came out and made it safe by cutting the 'bent' bit off, leaving a 3 foot stump which had cones around it. A lad in a Corsa hit it and rolled his car on it's side. There was a witness that said he was driving to fast, had a phone in one hand and a chocolate bar in the other!! I've seen an old guy park in a trolley bay and realised when he couldn't get out and on several occasions I've heard over the PA, 'can the customer with car reg XXXX move their vehicle as they have parked on a Zebra crossing!'

Hmm
I’ve had a few experiences in the last week driving around NZ, people of Asian extraction, braking before a corner even when they are only doing 40kmh and the corner has an advised speed of 85kmh, to make matters worse they try to straight line it through corner often ending up on the wrong side of the road or realising oh if I turn the steering wheel the car will turn the corner
To make matters worse every car that comes towards them they brake and slow down from 100kmh to 20kmh, or come to a complete stop on the straight or corner, nor do they pull over to allow other vehicles to pass
I had one idiot nearly rear end me twice because he forgot to slow down and stop for road workers and another who one minute was doing 100kmh then slams on the anchors cause a car is coming towards him on the opposite side of the road and another who stops in the middle of the road to take a photograph in a100kmh zone
They are a menace on the road and are going to cause an accident to themselves or to some other helpless person that knows how to drive
Apologies to all on here of Asian extraction that know how to drive
How they ever got to drive the hire car in the first place is beyond me or their licence was obtained inside a cornflakes packet
It is one reason I won’t drive in Asia
