Guys (and Gals) just in case ! Right as some of you know I've decided to go all professional and have a website/stickers/business cards etc, so as part of building the web site I am having a page for feedback/customer reviews, so if any of you who have had me do any work for them and would be kind enough to send me a few words in a Personal Messaage to me on here about their experience having me do work them that would be great, if you want to stay anonymous then that is fine, but of course, if you are happy to have your name attached to it, then that is fine as well, just write your views down and either sign it with your name at the end, or leave it blank, that way I will know It doesn't matter if its been a full bike build or a carb service, I am happy for any and all feedback, good or bad, it can be as little or as verbose as you like (although war and peace is probably a tad too long) and anything positive to say of course would be greatly appreciated I suspect I am opening myself up for allsorts of abuse now , but hey-ho, so be it For those that don't know, from the 1st July I will be offering a 6 day a week sevice/repairs/dyno time etc, as opposed to the current 3 days a week, so it will be eaieer to get stuff turned around quicker nad of course get jobs booked in Again, thanks in advance and for your continued support of course

You know feedback can be instant rather than some xy &z say I did a great job type comment.... Phil, its on my target list, but I am a little cautious on those platforms as too many trolls for my liking and a good reputation is hard earned and easily lost, even if its all lies, people are all too ready to beleive what they read online and if somebody wants to cause you problems, its an easy way to do it, so hence my apprehension, but its not completely out of the picture, just something I am considering with caution. I've never had to advertise and nor do I think I need to, but too many people ask me if I have a website/business cards etc, plus a lot of people (most) don't realise I stock and sell parts, so if nothing else, I can at least have them up for people to look at

I’m self employed all my work tends to be word of mouth and reputation and I completely agree about Facebook and Twitter etc wouldn’t touch it with a barge pole. It’s a cheap/free way to advertise but for me it is far too open to abuse and very hard to regulate.

As it's your website Dave you need to be able to vet the feedback before you post it on Muttsnutts. Does it have that option? If not get it installed!

The guy that did mine updates it every few months and trouble shoots it etc as a service package for £30 or month worth seeing if your developer will do likewise

Well the bacon and sausage sarnies are the Mutts nuts, tea on tap and plenty of banter. Hospitality 2nd to none. You’ll have no problems Dave. As fair as can be and honest too. (Does this make my engine build cheaper?!). See you soon pal.

Dave, Im 20y in 'media' industry. Im working for gov and big corp but before that a lot for start-up's. Send me a mgs if you are interested in (what I would call) the 'right' approach for a small start-up in your niche. Choosing a right approach in this dynamic and fast moving world nowadays will spare you the time to work in the garage/shop instead of thinking all the time how to improve your marketing/advertising, correct/update website .. discus with designer / developers .. the list is looooong .. As I clicked on 'new' to see what has been added here the Mutts Nutts logo was briefly illuminated. I swear I saw a set of balls and a c**k.

Good on you. Personally I'm amazed that one could meet expenses and buy food being a full time Moto shop. But Kudos for trying.. nonetheless. Best of Luck.
