Hi I may need to do a stem swap on the Rg125 yokes I have. The stem is shorter than on a 250 Rgv, meaning the stem nut might not have enough threads to act upon. Are stems basically pressed out, and then back in ? There is no evidence of welds anywhere so I imagine they are an interference fit ? Dusty

My RGV one is welded but when NK did my KR1S bottom yoke , he shortened it then pressed it in but also drilled and tapped for a grub screw to add strength

Yep without the weld simply press out , the NK grub screw is a worthy thing for peace of mind on reassembly...

Headcoats, do you know if NK pushed the stem from top to bottom t get out or from the bottom out? What exactly do you mean by NK shorted it?
I can't get the rgv stem to move... but I'm only using a 12 ton press.

Sorry I don't know and it was 10 years a go too
Remember mine was a KR1S stem too but the RGV one I do have is welded on
