If you buy the dials, just buy the ebay XT needles... you will need them. the old needles have seen too much sun and are brittle anyway. ‘Sun’ ?? , Sorry Jon you’ve lost me there mate! 🤣🤣🤣

Ultravoilet rays... they come thru the clouds and rain drops so I know you'll have had em too... thats why the plastic is so brittle :/

Ah, you’re referring to that pale yellow ball of light in the sky that’s usually obscured by clouds aren’t you? It’s weird, I see it first thing in the morning on my way to work then it disappears for the day! 🤣

Yes, it nips back downunder to warm us up before dropping back over to scowl at the mother country for the end of the day I think.

Now I have my new needles the colour I have painted the temp one is all wrong! What colour should I be using?

you will have to make up the colour you want. Ive seen nos gauges with dayglow needles and others with much duller ones. I usually blend a happy medium.

managed to get both mine off with spoons but would like to know how to reset the odometer before putting them back together anybody got any tips

Yes...with the clocks apart you can wind them back by hand. However I cannot assure you that the odometer will ever work again. Maybe a drill in reverse setting would be the best bet.
