Afternoon all,
Refitting my swingarm on a 4L0. There is approx 1.5 mm gap between the swingarm and the frame at the pivot tube, prior to refitting the bolt and tightening.
Does anyone know if this is normal? My OCD says to shim the play out.
Thanks!

There should be shims but they are very thin

I've seen the shims on the parts diagram, looks like I'll need a few! Thanks.

I'd advise measuring the distance between the frame rails across the swingarm spindle as it sound like the frame has been spread wider than standard. You do have the swingarm end caps fitted? The shims are fag paper thin, to take up 1.5mm you'll probably need a couple of dozen. OEB

Thanks's for the replies.
201mm between the mounting brackets which is, as far as I can read in other posts, in the region of standard.
Perhaps there were shims there originally but its 25 years since I last had this bike so plenty of chance for things to go walk about.
Looks like some more parts to add to the list. I'll perhaps try and make some or give Norbo a call.
