Just a quick question, are 31k seat catches the same as 4L0?
Thanks, Phil

I thought that they just had longer levers but would still fit on a 4LO or is that from another model??

Looking at pics they look very similar, that why I asked. Might be fun trying to find a pair then!

Basically the same and are interchangeable but the 31K ones have longer levers and the helmet loop is longer too. It's because the LC catches are exposed and the 31K ones are up behind the side panels.

Worth noting perhaps for completeness that the tang thats slips into these catches is different on the LC and ypvs.

I never realised they were the same, well similar... I would want to lock seat I think. Whichever ones you do end up with, make sure that the lock actually works correctly all the time,....I discovered that mine could release itself after popping the one on the opposite side. I've fixed mine now, I guess it's all down to 30+ years of wear basically, a bit too much play between the pivot/cam/heel of the release lever is the cause of the problem.

I didn't realise that the lock was for the seat I thought it was just for the helmet lock I've just put my seat on my rebuild and the levers work without a key looks like something else to check and repair you learn something new on here everyday
