Just rode my lc2 it’s the first time on one since 87 ,it feels a lot heavier than my lc ,no wonder we’ve all put Pv motors in our lc hybrids the steering is a lot different as well I see why I had a steering damper back in the day. It started raining so the run round the town to try and bed in the brakes is cancelled,it’s still a bit sluggish pulling away and still spraying petrol out the left hand exhaust but it much better than yesterday .

Once started and driven the petrol should be gone. It should just blow out or the warmth from the pipe will evaporate it.

Is the extra weight all down to the lc2's chassis then?

21kg is certainly a fair amount of difference on a small/middle weight bike, I've been use to full blown touring machines for years now so an extra 20kg or so doesn't seem like a big deal. Lol
