The silencers could also have come from something else.

They're Lomas pipes from the 80s. I've got some hanging in my garage that I got from Bob Farnham in'88 when I had my LC2 breathed on. They come with short cans and long ones.

as Rob says above they are Lomas They are excellent pipes as well for a tuned motor i run a set on my race bike . i tred a few but theys gave the best power top end hands down , the only difference is my ones have a taperd header as they are the race ones and these have parallel headers as they are the road ones

Absolutely agree with Norbo re. the power on these- I tried just about all the pipes around in the 80s and these won easily. Refurbing mine at the moment to lob onto my 31K when I finally get it together.

They look similar but there are a few differences to the ones I have here.

So only good as a race pipe and not for a Valve ? I originally had them on my 'valve when I had it tuned, and they were by far the best. I also had them on there when I had to revert to standard barrels for a while, and they were fine (back then, having standard pipes on a 350 outside the chip shop led people to question your sexuality!). I was running with no airbox at the time (well, standard airbox with the filter and top removed), and cooler plugs (B9EGVs IIRC).
Best set of pipes I had on standard 'valve barrels was some old skool small can microns for a 350LC with the hangers modded to fit the 'valve. Sounded mental and went unbelievably well. Unfortunately, when I switched to the tuned barrels, one of the downpipes melted!
