I made mine from a spark plug, google is your friend costs about a tenner with dial gauge.

Hi, I used a spoke out of an old push bike wheel to make a probe .

+1 for the bicycle spoke.
Push bike spoke is same thread as most dial gauges.
Easier to do if you whip the tank off.
