Just a general query. Apart from stock carbs what can I use on a standard 350LC engine? And are there any pros and cons?
Thanks, Alex.

If you look on norbos shop page he sells a variety of pwk carbs so suit different state of engine tunes etc, you will ether have to mod for oil input or run premix, benefits in my option are a brand new carb vrs 30yr old, should improve how the bike responds and revs 😁

Good question, I have wondered this myself, trying to keep the bike as stock so a direct replacement with 2 stroke oil inlets would be nice, probably impossible to get though??

Hi mate 31k carbs are a direct fit and a bit of an improvement over stock, although still a 30 plus year old carb ! They work well on Lc's - I've got a pair on mine, and if you want a straightforward swap, then they are good. The later pj carbs don't like pod filters and can be a pig to jet right so early Pv are the ones to get. As Barney said, Pwk's are a good carb for better performance over stock. I've got a set but don't know much about them; 20180201_080445 by David Miller, on Flickr They were on a Ypvs hybrid that I sold on, but the previous owner said they ran really well when on the bike. Lots of guys use them, and can be made to work with a airbox, although I know you are going with pods. I think you can get them brand new for under a £100 each - Kx85 fitment I believe although someone who knows will confirm I'm sure Dusty

31k carbs are an excellent upgrade, ran mine with 4l0 00 slides and it was seamless with no 5 to 6k stutter, just pulled through from any revs, then changed to a set of PWK copies which muttsnuts modded to swap one idle screw over to the other side of the body, and added the oil lines to the vac spigots, pulls harder and revs crisper, but have a slight midrange hesitation which I'm still trying to cure.
Edited as it was actually the early needles I ran in the carbs and not the slides 4H16 needles.
