So the bike is now happily tucked in my garage, I have found a pair of RGV VJ23 forks for it and think I can get a TZR250 3ma swinging arm, has anybody fitted one of these, I quite like the look of it, a bit old school with the bracing underneath. Hopefully pics attached, this was the bike Fozzy had for sale. flic.kr/p/XUhNcL

I'm thinking of fitting a 3MA arm, if I have all the necessary parts. have you seen the rebuild thread SeanRD? did.
Found the thread, but no pics as usual. Pipes look like long can Allspeeds or Lomas replicas,

Hmmm, not so sure now, but it look shorter than the RGV ones, doesn't look like the wheel is so far back, I may still look at it as an option.

Dont forget that Rgv arms look different in pv frames as against fitted to an Lc frame. The pv frame seems to suit a slightly longer arm imo. Not sure what a standard pv arm length is compared to a standard Lc arm - might be worth checking. Dusty

Perfect Exactly the pics you need. The arm seems much more suited to a Pv frame than an Lc one. That cant be far off standard wheelbase for a valve I would think. I like that swingarm in a pv Dusty

I was going to turn that type of swing arm upside down and fit it to my 4LO but i couldn't find one. In the end i found a TZ arm.

This bike looks cool, but it is not 100% what I’d expect.
It’s got rear sets and a grab rail and a double seat?

I think the seat is the hardest single part to get "right" on a specials build if you want to deviate from standard. You can chop frames about, change front and rear ends and do all the other stuff, but finding a different seat that looks right and is actually comfortable is really hard to do unless you have the tools and skills for new subframes. Topman's builds are great coz he makes the parts he uses look like they came from the factory, but it can be a stumbling block for many that's not easily rectified. I still have a desire to build something totally different to what I have now but the design that's in my head never has the right type/look of seat. Dusty

I dropped a mail to NK, he says he's only done one and that was years ago, he thinks the work could cosy up to 450 quid and cant do anything until the summer so maybe I'll rethink that idea.
