Hi, Is it possible to remove the plastic coloured inserts for the idiot lights in a N1 clock surround, mine needs a re-paint? Thanks, Andy.

Yes, took some out a little while ago, sort of glued in, (or were 30 years ago) and just carefully pushed them out from behind. I've been looking for new decals since doing it, but can't find any unless you or someone else has details???

Thanks Bott, i'll heat the buggers up a bit with the other half's hairdrier to soften the glue, i bought a spare one to play with so i'll try that one first!. I also need some decals, if i find any sutable ones i'll post on here. Cheers, Andy.

The decals are good, but not quite OEM as they were printed it looks like, but are loads better than chipped n faded originals of course. I powdercoated mine with a light wrinkle finish and they still stuck on well to that and the setup looks new when done.

They are the same warning lenses used on lots of Yamaha bikes of the era.. When I needed one a while ago I bought some TZR 125 clocks and popped one out..
