Evening gents,
Anyone have any input on fitting a rear disc to the standard ’italic’ spoked 250/350 rear wheel?, also the best calliper to use?.
Thanks in advance, bezzer

Mod comes with everything you need just so slide in the rear spindle, new sprocket carrier, sprocket ,spacers and rear brake hanger 👍

From what I remember, the standard drum brake were more than adequate, are you guys really noticing a difference or is it for cosmetic reasons mainly?

Bling .. basically imo. Old unsophisticated rear drum works V well and is more easily feathered in use.. which is actually rare. In street uses rear brake is mostly for hill holding

This one is mine NK conversion Standard rear wheel spindle, bearings are modified to take the larger diameter, custom marchanesi cush drive and sprocket, I used a 31K rear caliper and bracket, I had it mounted upside, rather than slung below, personal choice. Its harsh, but you get used to it, it certainly works well.
