thats the power valve stripped, frame mods arriving on monday, so hopefully the rolling chassis will be done this week, any advice on replacing the rgv rear shock, was thinking of a standard r6? will need to get a flicker account and post some pics

R6 doesn't fit,, I've tried there's not enough room for travel You need a shock with a fork on the bottom

R6 is ok but needs a slight mod to the frame to fit plus the shock itself needs some modding. A better alternative is a YSS which will bolt straight on and would be a better shock suited to the bike. Or a Nitron if funds allow.

the original rgv shock is rough looking as its been lying at the back of the shed for years, the swinging arm cleaned up mint

Ah ok didnt realise you were usong an rgv arm. Yss is still the best option for its price. Brooksbarn on ebay often have them😁
