A mate has been offered some nos lc pipes with orange paint on the hanger. I see on xaviers site there are blue and yellow but the name of the pic is orange yet there is no info about orange...hmm. lol. Anyway ive never seen a pipe with any original paint intact so this is beyond me, any advice greatly received.

The way I read it is orange is early pipe (1980) therefore before modification. Didnt see that pic. I read that as orange is the updated 350 pipe?

Orange dot pipes are the recall/replacement pipes for a 1980 350. They were supplied with a fixing kit comprising of an ali spacer (to fit the barrel gasket recess) a pair of studs, nuts & gaskets. The fixing flange, when pulled tight to the end of the downpipe, forms a recess for the gasket as the ali spacer is used to fill the recess in the barrel. OEB
