Hi all, I'm just starting to restore a 1985 RD125LC gifted to me by a very generous friend. I've had a quick read and there is loads of knowledge here The bodywork etc. is going off to paint and I'm going Candy Blue. Tyres, I'm probably going Metzeler ME22 and Oponeo seem to have stock - M&P are out of rears. HOWEVER, I do have what I believe is a common problem in that where the side stand connects to the frame it's snapped at some point and been bodge welded back on. I'm sure you used to be able to buy a replacement frame section but cant find one anywhere?? Anyway, looking forward to getting it done for next Summer. Can't seem to add a pic using IMGUR - will work on it! Cheers, Phil

I've got a welding guy who probably can but Yambits used to do a small section that you just welded in - thought that would be a bit easier for him. Put a pic up of your candy blue for inspiration please Phil
